Day Itineraries
Arusha National Park Day Trip Safari
06:30 Pick up from the Hotel in Moshi after taking a breakfast and drive to
Arusha National Park – Momella Gate for a Nature walk. With an armed ranger at
the slope of Mount Meru. Arusha National Park is a gem of varied ecosystems and
spectacular views of Mt. Meru, the crater that gives.
The region its name. The small
national park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mt. Meru, the Momela
Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that blanket its lower
slopes Game viewing. Around the Momela Lakes is at a laid-back and quiet pace,
and while passing through the forest many visitors. Stop to search for troupes
of rare colubus monkeys playing in the canopy.
Lunch will be taken with our Picnic
lunch boxes and bottled drinking water followed by afternoon game viewing in
Arusha national. Park, visiting the Momella lakes and Ngurdoto crater. Late in
the afternoon drive back to Moshi and drop off at your Hotel.
Tarangire
National Park Day Trip
06:00, Pick up from the hotel in
Moshi and Drive south through Arusha to prehistoric-looking Tarangire. National
Park for a full day game viewing in the park. The Tarangire River is the
centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of
elephants in Africa. In the dry season large numbers of animals congregate
along the lifeblood of the river. Lunch will be taken with our Picnic lunch
boxes and bottled drinking water followed by afternoon game viewing. Drive into
a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias. Here you may
see lion, leopard, Cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and
zebra. In addition to the animal species, the park is famous for its
century-old baobab trees and over 300 species of birds. Late in the afternoon
drive back to Moshi and drop off at your Lodge.
Lake
Manyara National Park Day Trip
At 06:00 after breakfast, drive from
Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park, picking up our lunch
Boxes at Jambo Lodge in Mto Wa Mbu
during our refreshment break. A beautiful park, Lake Manyara. Contains a
diverse range of habitats and topographical features ranging from the rift
wall, ground water forest, acacia woodlands and open grasslands to the shores
of Lake Manyara and the lake itself. Picnic Lunch will be served at Msasa
Picnic site which affords fabulous views of the lake. Following lunch we’ll
have afternoon game viewing in the park searching for the diverse flora and
fauna of the park. There are Some 350 different bird species in the park. Thepark
provides sanctuary to a variety of animals such as the Gazelle, impala,
buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, baboon, giraffe, hippo and the famous tree-climbing
lions that are Unique to the lake. Late in the afternoon drive back to Moshi
and drop off at your Hotel.
