6 Days/ 5 Nights Kenya Safari is a fabulous itinerary and offers the perfect way to see some of Kenya’s best game-filled locations and also gives a good insight into the culture and way of life of the local people.

The itinerary visits Samburu Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Masai Mara.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Shaba Game Reserve (L,D)

Pool-by-Night After breakfast you will depart for Samburu. Arrive at Sarova Shaba in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing then evening game drive at 4p.m until 6:00 pm. Return to the lodge and freshen up for dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge. Meals lunch and dinner

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve (B,L,D)

After breakfast 8.00am leave for a full morning game drive. Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, Gravy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Gerenuks, buffaloes, Onyx, gazelles, Dik-dik and water bucks. Return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming games and relaxation. At 4p.m we leave for an evening game drive till sunset then return to the lodge to freshen up for dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Shaba.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park (B,L,D)

rhino flamingosAfter breakfast depart with a game-drive en route Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop in Narok. Arrive at Merica Hotel in time for lunch. Afternoon, conduct a game drive. The Lake is famous for flamingos as well as over 400 other species of birds. In addition, many species of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reed buck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill.

Day 4 : Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (B,L,D)

Sarova Shaba Lions After breakfast you will depart for Maasai Mara. You will arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge, which will be followed by an afternoon game drive till evening.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve, now the New 7th wonder of the world and 4th most preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine.

Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve (B, L,D)

CampinAfter breakfast, you will depart with packed picnic lunch for a full day’s game drive. In the evening you will be transferred back to Mara Sopa Lodge. for dinner and overnight.

All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge. Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (B)

After breakfast depart for Nairobi with a Morning game-drive. Arrive late afternoon and transferred back to your place of residence within Nairobi
