The following tours & packages are on offer:

Package A: Overnight cultural tour & stay in Maasai Village

You will spend part of your day and overnight stay in typical Maasai village ‘Simangori’ and share your time with the legendary Maasai. A welcome dance from the Maasai women and warriors followed by welcome drink will make you feel great and closer to people. In your cultural tour, you will learn the Maasai ways of life, identify various herbs/Maasai medicine, hunting techniques, Maasai pastoral heritage and their coexistence with wildlife. Evening program with Maasai traditional ceremonies, BBQ Buffet and storytelling from elders accompanied by entertainments from the warriors will make your evening a memorable one.
In the morning, take a short hike to the wildlife rich area to the roof of Simangori hill. After descending take your time under a tree to enjoy your breakfast.

The package includes: Tour fees, Full board arrangement-accommodation (luxury tents)/dinner/breakfast (Water, soda and beer must be paid separately).

Package B: Maasai Cultural day village tour

You will spend your day time in a Maasai village and participate in afternoon home chores in the village during your stay. Welcome dance from women and warriors/welcome drink/Maasai Village tour/Maasai medicine/walking safari/traditional lunch

The package includes: Tour fees, traditional lunch & welcome drink

(Other drinks like soda and beer must be paid separately)

Visits to local markets

After your overnight stay, take a walk to the nearby cattle market, experience cattle business and sample BBQ and local brew within and around the Market area. This tour is only available on Mondays and Fridays. Be part of the Community in their weekly cattle/local market.
The following are organized on special request;

- Maasai wilderness skills/survival training for warriors

Getting there:

Simangori CT is located 75 kms North-West of Arusha town, 40kms from Tarangire National Park, 25 kms from Lake Manyara National park and only 3 kms from the main tarmac road from Arusha to Ngorongoro between Makuyuni and Mto wa mbu.

Where to stay

The only accommodation facility in the village is a campsite installed with nice tents and toilets.
You can organize your trip to Simangori Maasai village through your Tour or Hotel Operator organizing your safari or through Tanzania Tourist Board office in Arusha.
